Kate Paradis, Certified Classical Homeopath
Kate discovered homeopathy when her children were babies, and ever since has been excitedly sharing her discovery and deepening her understanding of its potential. Since becoming a professional homeopath, she has helped hundreds of people achieve ever higher levels of health.
She learned early on how tricky it can be to self-treat, and recognized that working with a professional is the best way to experience the full potential of this amazing healing modality.
During a year in England she found a homeopath to help her, and developed a real appreciation for having a knowledgeable guide.
Impressed with the scientific foundation which homeopathic provings bring to the profession, Kate was inspired to master the complexity of the system because it unites her desire to help individual people while making a contribution to humanity as a whole.
Kate graduated from the Homeopathy School of Colorado in 2004 and immediately set up her private practice. Her training included homeopathic philosophy and materia medica, clinical experience, and case management.
She also has a B.A. in Political and Social Thought from the University of Virginia (1983).
Kate is married and has two grown children. She is an avid gardener, hiker, skier, and family-oriented person.
She grew up in a large family of talkers, where she was the "quiet one" who became adept at listening while developing an awareness of the need for precision in language.
This active listening serves her well in her career. By truly listening to her patients and their health histories - and double checking that she is hearing accurately - Kate is able to gain a deep understanding of each person's unique life story.
This enables her to more easily find the remedy that will resonate most closely, and thus stimulate a healing response.
